A good die design centre can reduce rejections, improve productivity and most of all minimize raw material consumption. In order to achieve this Echjay uses various CAD/CAM tools and simulation software. While the dies are currently made on conventional machines using copy lathes and EDM, addition of VMCs is planned in the near future. A combination of these will give us the versatility of employing correct resources for every forging die and fixture.
