Echjay has installed two electro hydraulic closed die hammers and one pneumatic closed die hammer. These three closed die hammers put together allow Echjay to forge components from 0.5 kgs to about 25 kgs in weight. The success of closed die forging rests with the ability of hammer operators and Echjay has some of the most experienced operators available in the country who are able to manufacture extremely complex components. At Echjay we also have a 6” holding dia upsetter which is most ideal to make long cylindrical components like axle shafts and pinions. The clients gain actual benefit when both closed die forging and upset forging facilities can be combined to manufacture extremely complex components often made out of stainless steel, aluminum alloys or super alloys. With an experience of 5 decades Echjay is considered as one of the oldest and pioneering forge shops of India.
